Vision
The OKC 5U Broncos coaching staff is excited about our upcoming spring season for 2019. Each of our players is at a great age to begin exploring the wonderful world of baseball, and we look forward to teaching them the game. As always, our goal is to use baseball as a tool to develop young leaders. The OKC Broncos program places a strong emphasis on fundamental skills training, teamwork, and character development.

Team Communication
Team communication will take place primarily through a platform called Slack. This is how team messages will be sent, but also how you will communicate with coaches (not via text or email). Slack has a web interface, as well as apps for iOS, Android, and desktops. If you have not received an invitation to join Slack, please contact Jessica McAfee at (405) 343-4448.
A note on rainouts: If it’s rainy/wet on game day, please don’t call/text/email your coach or team mom to ask if a game will be rained out. The league determines whether games are played, and they almost NEVER make a decision before 4pm. Your coach or team mom will let you know through Slack if a game is cancelled or postponed. If you don’t hear something, the game is on.
Parent Meeting – DATE TBD
Our Parent Meeting will be at _____________________
This is an important meeting for players and parents and will cover many items for the upcoming season. Player fees and uniform payments will be due that night as well. Make plans for your player and at least one parent to attend. If you absolutely cannot attend, contact _______________ prior to the meeting to make alternate arrangements.
Come to the parent meeting prepared to pay your dues, have your player uniform sized, and bring a copy (not certified) of your child’s birth certificate.
